Custom Plan: We create a custom irrigation plan tailored to meet the specific needs of your landscape.

2. Design Approval

Client Review: We present the design plan for your approval, ensuring it meets your expectations and requirements.

Adjustments: Any necessary adjustments are made based on your feedback.

3. Installation Preparation

Survey: Prior to work, a utility service survey may be necessary to locate buried pipes and cables, especially in front gardens where these services are highly likely.

4. System Installation

Trenching and Piping: Trenches are carefully dug using a trenching machine and/or hand digging. Pipes are laid in channels or hidden along fences or hedges to remain as invisible as possible.

Sprinkler Placement: Sprinkler heads are strategically placed to ensure even water coverage across your landscape.

Valve and Controller Setup: Valves are installed and connected to the control unit, programmed to manage watering schedules efficiently.

5. Testing and Adjustment

System Test: The entire system is tested to ensure all components are working correctly, checking for leaks, proper pressure, and coverage.

Adjustments: Necessary adjustments are made to optimise performance and ensure the system operates efficiently.

6. Client Walkthrough

System Demonstration: We provide a detailed demonstration of how the system works, including adjusting settings and performing basic maintenance.

User Manual: A comprehensive user manual is provided, containing instructions for operating and troubleshooting the system.

Frequently asked questions: Irrigation Installation

How much does it cost to install an irrigation system?

The cost varies from site to site at what your own budget is. We try to cater the project to what you want, in your budget. Typically a small garden could be as little as £1,500 - £2,500. A large estate with rainwater harvesting can cost up to £50,000.

How hard is it to install an irrigation system?

This entirely depends the size and specifications of the property. If the soil is clay, or has lots of stones, if we have to get under patio or driveways - this will make the project more laborious. In saying that, there is nothing we can't do!

What installation methods do you use?

Our greatest resource is person-power. We have team of dedicated staff who are friendly and hard working. In addition to this, we sometimes use trenching machines and/or diggers (for buried tanks), or a range of power tools.

How deep should irrigation be buried?

Typically the absolute minimum ever should be around 6". Realistically this should be around 8-12" (think of a 30cm ruler!). We do this to protect the pipes from both animals and people (aeration of a lawn).

How long does it take to install irrigation?

This depends on the size and complexity of the project. A team of 2-6 people will usually attend a project and what work needs to be done. Systems are usually installed anywhere from a day, to a week.
